UNICOL Rottweiler D3 Wood Glue is a high-performance D3 water-resistant adhesive designed for professional woodworking and joinery applications. Manufactured to meet or exceed DIN EN 204 D3, it delivers exceptional bonding strength and moisture resistance for applications exposed to humidity and occasional water contact.

The adhesive is widely used in the production of high-quality doors, windows, furniture, flooring, and built-in wooden components. Its balanced open time allows sufficient working time for accurate alignment before clamping and curing.

Suitable for both internal and external use, especially in damp or humid environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, and covered outdoor applications.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and grease.
• Recommended timber moisture content: 8%–14%.

Application

• Apply using a brush, roller, or machine application system.
• Open working time is approximately 3 minutes.

Clamping Guidelines

• Clamp assembled parts for approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
• Recommended pressure:
• Softwoods: approximately 300 kPa
• Hardwoods: approximately 600–900 kPa

Special Recommendation

• For hard and exotic wood species, two-sided application is recommended to improve bonding strength.
• This may slightly increase setting time.

Cleaning & Storage

• Clean tools and excess adhesive with water while still wet.
• Do not use below +5°C.
• Close packaging tightly after use.
• Store in a cool, dry, frost-free environment.
