The Triangle Student Residence is a contemporary student accommodation development located adjacent to the University of Nicosia campus in Agios Dometios, Nicosia. Designed to complement the award-winning SIX student housing complex, the project provides high-quality accommodation tailored to the needs of modern student life while contributing a distinctive architectural identity to the surrounding urban environment. The development features 147 modern and spacious student residences, combining contemporary design, premium amenities, and functional living spaces within a vibrant university setting.
Designed by Eraclis Papachristou Architectural Office, The Triangle explores the concept of architectural diversity within a cohesive urban framework. The building's bold geometric form, elevated residential volumes, and dynamic public spaces create a landmark development that enhances the University of Nicosia's student community while encouraging interaction, connectivity, and social engagement.
Architectural Design Concept
The Triangle was conceived as a continuation of the architectural dialogue established by the neighbouring SIX student residence development. Rather than repeating an existing design language, the project introduces a distinct geometric expression that celebrates individuality while maintaining a strong relationship with its urban context.
The design creates a public square between the two developments, strengthening connections within the wider university district. Elevated residential volumes, dramatic structural elements, and carefully planned communal spaces contribute to a modern student-living environment that balances privacy, functionality, and community interaction.
